An Arsenal star has been slammed for "behaving like a baby" during their UEFA Champions League tie against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night

The Gunners played out to a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich in the first leg of their UCL quarter-final at the Emirates Stadium in London.

Bukayo Saka scored the opener in the 12th minute with a superb curling finish past Bavarians goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.

Germany international Serge Gnabry then scored an equaliser for the Bavarians in the 17th minute, before Harry Kane gave the visitors a 2-1 lead through a calmly finished penalty in the 31st minute.

Substitutes Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard combined for the Arsenal's second goal of the night, with the latter sparing the English side's blushes in the 76th minute.

However, later in the match, more drama ensued when Saka went down in the opposition box after he was seemingly tripped by Neuer.

Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg waved away the furious English winger's appeals, with the match ending soon after the incident.

The final whistle did not stop the 22-year-old's angry protests, though, as he went on to confront the match official after the game, prompting Arsenal assistant boss Albert Stuivenberg to step in and move him away from the referee.

Former Premier League star Paolo Di Canio was left displeased with Saka's rant at the referee, slamming the player for his behaviour.

"He didn't behave as an experienced player," the Italian said, according to Sky Sports.

"He behaved liked a baby with no experience."

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta refused to comment on the decision, stating: "I haven't seen it. The decision is made, we cannot change that. We have to focus on other aspects we can control and that we could've done much better tonight."
