My Dream Team: Thapelo Tshilo

In this edition of My Dream Team, KickOff catches up with former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Thapelo "Chappies" Tshilo, who picks the 10 best players he played with in his football career.

The Boksburg-born centre-back made his name at Jomo Cosmos, before moving to the likes of Moroka Swallows, Bidvest Wits, Polokwane City and Sundowns.

Goalkeeper: Itumeleng Khune

"Technically gifted, vocal, leadership qualities, and makes the team play out from the back."

Right back: James Madidilane

"Fittest footballer... discipline on and off the field. Inside the field, he gives the team balance when overlapping. Good quality crossing."

Centre-back: Morgan Gould

"Leadership qualities, hard worker, comfortable on the ball, and uses both feet."

Centre-back: Thapelo Tshilo

"What can I say? [Laughs] Technically good, leadership qualities, organizer, vocal, hard tackler, takes no prisoners, and a good header of the ball. He keeps the team on their toes because of his leadership qualities."

Left-back: Sibusiso Mxoyana

"Good left footer, very skillful, gives the team good shape and balance going forward, and is a team player."

CDM: Reneilwe Letsolonyane
