AmaZulu midfielder Rowan Human has named a former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns star as his childhood idol.
Human came through the Wits academy and at the time, became the third youngest player to make a Premiership debut at 18 years old in a 2-0 win against Stellenbosch back in 2020.

The former South Africa U-20 captain then had stints abroad with Beitar Tel Aviv before returning to local shores with Maritzburg United and currently with AmaZulu.
Speaking exclusively to KickOff, Human revealed that his childhood hero grew up with none other Pirates and Sundowns legend Teko Modise.
"I really liked watching Teko [Modise] bring something to the game no one [at the time]," Human told KickOff.
"You know, he dictated matches. He could carry the game on his own.
"It's funny because I remember at some point he played on the left, and I started playing as a winger then he signed for Sundowns and played in the middle, so I told the coaches that no I will play the middle now (laughs).
"But yeah it was like that because that was someone I looked up to for sure."

Meanwhile, the highly-rated 22-year-old has made eight appearances for Usuthu this season.
Interest in Human is unlikely to die down, with Chiefs having come very close to snapping up the midfielder who was part of Bafana's Cosafa squad in June.
