The 36-year-old had been previously linked with a move to Moroka Swallows, but has now completed a trip to Cape Town with a view of completing a move to Spurs.
"He should be signing very soon. It's just a matter of agreeing terms," a Spurs club official tells KickOff.
Meanwhile Spurs coach Vasili Manousakis also confirmed the player had joined up with the Spurs first-team camp.
"He will add a lot of value (if signed), quality, and experience to the team, especially having worked with him before," Manousakis said.
Spurs face face Orlando Pirates in a Carling Knockout clash at Orlando Stadium on Friday.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
