Bafana vice-captain Siyanda Xulu has urged South African players to play at the highest level abroad in a bid to help the national team be more competitive.
Bafana are set to face Morocco on Saturday in an Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier to be played at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
Broos' side are ranked a lowly 66th in the FIFA world rankings, while Morocco are ranked 11th after advancing to the semi-finals at the Qatar World Cup.

Xulu believes there's no reason why South Africa can't achieve similar feats but would have to export more players. Currently, just six players in the Bafana squad are playing their football abroad.
"Personally, I always thought plying your trade outside your comfort zone in Europe or wherever improves you as a player," the centre-back told journalists.
"We have seen in Morocco, they have 90% of the players are playing in Europe. that's why they were able to compete at the highest level.
"It's very important and it's the one thing we need to make sure we try and do as South Africans, whereby we export more players overseas so that we can try and compete against bigger countries because that is the only thing they have."
"They have more players playing in Europe and in the UEFA Champions League so they have a bit of advantage by playing competitive football week in and week out."
"When you play (at) home and we play against them we don't have that much experience when it comes to the national team. We have 10% of the squad that plays in a competitive league and it becomes very difficult.
"Personally, I think that is one thing we have to try improve as a country to get more players competing in big leagues."
Kick-off is at 17:00.
