EPL clubs reach shock verdict on Man City amid charges

A number of Premier League clubs have reached a strong verdict on how Manchester City should be punished following their charges.

With the Citizens facing more than 100 breaches of financial rules, all eyes are focused on the independent commission's findings as the committee will reach a decision based off the information that was collected in the four-year investigation.

A range of punishments could be applied if City are found guilty, from a fine, to a points deduction, to a potential expulsion from the EPL.

Since the news broke, there has been a lot of analysis from pundits and football figures regarding what the the correct decision should be if City are eventually found guilty.

Another potential sanction could be the process of stripping City of the titles they won over the nine-year period, which starts in 2009 and goes on until 2018, but there is a concern that this would not be impactful and instead only create confusion.
