Pitso Mosimane has refused to rule out a return to South African coaching as the decorated mentor turns his attention to a new venture in Saudi Arabia.
Multiple CAF Champions League winning coach Pitso Mosimane was recently announced as the new head coach of Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli Saudi FC, but the 58-year-old has insisted that a return to South African coaching is not out of the question.
"Yes, I'm still open for (coaching) South African teams," he told journalists at press conference held on Thursday.
"Never say never, why not?"

Mosimane did warn however the interested club's own ambitions would ultimately be the key to attaining his signature, among other factors.
"But the project must be good. It's not about 'come and coach and help us'. The project must be good there must a plan, a vision, there must be time frames. If you asked Pep Guardiola is he can win the premiership with Norwich, what do you think? It's not easy," the former Al Ahly coach added.
"When you have a good team, when you have good players. You have an institution, you have 40 to 50 000 bums on the seats - a big club, you have a big influence on the results. You need good players."
"So you can't just take a club because maybe you're getting paid, they can afford to pay you. It's the project."
"We don't want to make any career suicide decisions just because it's a big name or because they can afford to pay you."
Mosimane's last South African coaching job was a seven year spell with Mamelodi Sundowns accumulated nine trophies, including the CAF Champions League and five league titles among the silverware.
He and his team did however serve a mentorship role with Royal AM for the Pitso Mosimane Master Class Series.
