Liverpool qualified for the UEFA Champions League last 16 with a narrow 1-0 win over Ajax Amsterdam on Tuesday evening.
Jurgen Klopp surprised many after starting Caoimhin Kelleher in the Liverpool goal ahead of Adrian with captain Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane recalled.
It could've been a fast start for the Reds after six minutes when Curtis Jones curled one onto the face of the post following a cutback from Mohamed Salah.
Ajax responded before the half-hour mark as Davy Klaassen received an excellent chance from a teasing ball by David Neres, but Kelleher managed to pull off a save.
Kelleher was in the spotlight again minutes to halftime after diving across in the area to turn a thumping strike from Noussair Mazraoui over the top.

The Dutch giants had another big chance in the first five minutes of the second half when Klaassen steered a smartly taken cross from Neres past Kelleher following clever inter-play.
As the visitors continued piling on the pressure, the Reds broke the deadlock inside 58 minutes after Andre Onana misjudged a cross from Neco Williams, leaving Jones to profit at the far post.
More goals were seemingly on the cards for the hosts minutes later when a defensive mix-up opened up a chance Salah, but Onana redeemed himself with a smart save.
Klopp turned to the bench in order to preserve the lead with 68 minutes gone, as Roberto Firmino came on for Diogo Jota.
Liverpool had two big chances to wrap up the contest in the final minutes when a pass from Salah released Firmino, who with only Onana to beat, failed to capitalise.
In similar fashion, Salah should've made the points safe after beating the offside trap to race through but dragged wide, although the Reds held on to secure victory and a spot in the knockout round.
