Barcelona have named a 21-man squad for their trip to Italy on Wednesday when they will meet reigning Serie A champions Juventus, who could be without star man Cristiano Ronaldo as he continues to recover after testing positive for the coronavirus.
Koeman is faced with a notable absentee of his own as in-form midfielder Philippe Coutinho will miss the encounter after suffering a hamstring injury during the club's 3-1 El Clasico defeat to Real Madrid over the weekend.
The Dutchman will also be without the services of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Matheus Fernandes and Samuel Umtiti, although he is spoiled for choice in attack with Lionel Messi, Ansu Fati, Antoine Griezmann and Ousmane Dembele having all been included.
Elsewhere, Juve boss Andrea Pirlo is facing a nervous wait to see if Ronaldo will be cleared to take part in the match, with the Portugal captain set to take another test later on Tuesday, according to the Daily Mail.
Should the result come back negative, and with at least 24 hours to spare before kick-off, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner could well take his place on the pitch for a highly-anticipated reunion with long-time rival Messi.
