AC Milan got their Serie A campaign back on track with a slender 1-0 victory over SPAL at the San Siro on Thursday evening.

Milan were looking to bounce back from the defeat to AS Roma, while SPAL were aiming to move out the relegation zone.

The hosts did most of the dominating but could only carve up one goal thanks to second-half substitute Suso's first league goal of the season.

Eibar returned to winning ways in LaLiga with a crucial 2-1 triumph over Villarreal at the Estadio Municipal de Ipurúa.

After a scoreless opening 45 minutes, Kike gifted the hosts the lead on 62 minutes before Gerard Moreno restored in the 88th minute.

Eibar had the final say as Fabian Orellana struck the winning goal in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time.

Mallorca's struggles continued in LaLiga after drawing 2-2 with Osasuna at Iberostar Estadi.

Junior Lago and Salva Sevilla were on target for the home side, while Cardona and Ruben Garcia rescued a point for Osasuna.

Third-place Granada were brought back down to earth after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.

Angel and Mauro Arambarri put the hosts two goals up before Antonio Puertas pulled one back for Granada, although Timor restored the two-goal in the final two minutes.
