Goalkeeper Keylor Navas, Juan Bernat, Julian Draxler and Xavier Simons were recalled after PSG's 5-1 drubbing of LOSC Lille last Sunday.
The Parisans were nearly on the back foot in the first five minutes as Navas back-peddled towards the top corner and turned Benjamin Bourigeaud's half-volley behind.
PSG continued to see little in the way of offensive entries and were opened up again after nine minutes when Baptiste Santamaria headed a surging ball from the wing wide.
Mauricio Pochettino's men were still frustrated in the last ten minutes to the break and saw Kylian Mbappe drop a shoulder right of the area to curl across the face of goal.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner was in on goal again from a similar position inside 40 minutes of action and battered the post following a cutback into the area.
PSG' strong end to the first half filtered through to the second period minutes in, as Draxler worked a yard of space metres outside the area to prod wide of the near corner.
The Parisans continued to work openings which Mbappe spurned before he thought he had gotten a breakthrough on 65 minutes from a ball through the middle, but he was called for offside.
At the same time, Pochettino managed to draw substitutions from the dugout, with Georginio Wijnaldum coming in for Simons and Angel Di Maria introduced for Draxler.
PSG hoped for the opener minutes later through a ball from Di Maria following a frustrating evening, but Wijnaldum wasn't able to make the move count.
The reward came through at the death when Mbappe controlled a low pass from Lionel Messi outside the area and curled into the far corner to give the host the win.
