Thomas Tuchel is now reportedly being considered for a shock return to one of his former clubs.
The 49-year-old is currently a free agent after being sacked by Chelsea in September 2022, just seven games into the 2022/23 season.
It is believed his departure from Stamford Bridge came as a result of differences he had with new co-owner Todd Boehly, with his exit coming after 100 games in charge, during which he reached six finals and won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup with the Blues.

Since his sacking, he has been linked with a string of teams, including Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and more recently Real Madrid following reports that Carlo Ancelotti could take up the Brazil national team job at the end of this season.
According to RMC Sport, though, Tuchel has admirers at his former side Paris Saint-Germain, who are said to be considering sacking current boss Christophe Galtier should he fail in the Champions League.
PSG suffered a 1-0 defeat in the first leg of their last 16 clash against Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday, and various reports in France have since suggested that the return leg on 8 March could decide the former Lille mentor's fate in Paris.
With Tuchel now believed to be in line for a shock return to PSG, it is also said that he could face competition for the job from Zinedine Zidane, who is thought to be a favourite for the Emir of Qatar, who owns the Ligue 1 club.
