In what would be a stunning move, FC Barcelona are reportedly looking into signing a Real Madrid star.
In recent history, not many players have had the tenacity to represent the two Spanish rivals.

However, in the past, big names such as Ronaldo Nazario and Luis Figo controversially made the switch from Barca to Real, with the latter infamously coming in for some serious abuse upon his return to the Camp Nou as a Los Blancos player from Blaugrana fans, who threw a pig's head at him as he was taking a corner.
There could soon be another transfer between the two LaLiga giants, though, with Mundo Deportivo claiming that attacker Marco Asensio has been identified as a potential signing for Xavi Hernandez's side.
The report indicates that the Catalans are impressed by the 26-year-old's tactical adaptability and versatility, while his relatively young age is also considered a positive.
The Spain international has seen his playing time reduced at the Santiago Bernabeu this season, with Carlo Ancelotti favouring the likes of Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo ahead of him.
With Asensio's deal running out in June 2023, he could leave the European champions as a free agent at the end of the season, with negotiations on a contract renewal reportedly stalling due to the winger's wage demands.

The potential transfer could also be boosted by the fact that Asensio is represented by Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes, who has a good relationship with Barca president Joan Laporta.
The Spain international has grown frustrated under Ancelotti, and was recently seen throwing a bib and kicking a cooler box in anger after the Italian coach decided not to bring him on in a match against Mallorca on 11 September.
