Wydad will now turn their attention to Sunday's clash against Juventus, who opened their campaign with a win over Al Ain, meaning the Moroccans can't afford to lose.
However, coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem has recieved a boost with Le Site Info reporting that Ayoub Bouchta returned to training after missing the loss to Man City.
The report adds that Bouchta is considered a player for the squad and will be a key asset against the Seri A giants at Lincoln Financial Field.
Benhachem will also be able to call on new signing Omar Al Somah, whose arrival in United States was reportedly delayed after a visa issue.
Wydad currently sit third in Group G heading into Sunday's encounter.
