Patrice Evra announced his retirement after two decades in professional football and he's now revealed how a piece of chicken helped him earn his dream move to Manchester United.
After amassing 733 club appearances over 21 years for the likes of the Red Devils, AS Monaco and Juventus, Evra officially hung up his boots this week at the age of 38.
And in an interview with The Players Tribune he discussed how an injury he sustained on international duty early on in his career saw him seek unorthodox methods to continue featuring in the first-team at club level.
