FIFA has now published the latest international rankings and nine African teams are ranked in the top 50!
Morocco, the number one ranked African team in the world, moved up two spots to take 13th position, followed by reigning African champions Senegal in 20th place and Tunisia at 29.

Despite still being in the top 20, Senegal dropped two places, dropping points after drawing 1-1 with Rwanda and losing 1-0 to Algeria during the last round of international fixtures that took place in September.
Tunisia, who recently beat Botswana 3-0 before a hard-earned 3-1 victory over African giants Egypt, secured 29th spot.
Behind them are Mali and Cote d'Ivoire, both moving up to 49 and 5, replacing Greece and Paraguay in the process.
South Africa find themselves at 65 in the world, dropping from 63.
Guinea-Bissau, meanwhile, are the most improved African side, jumping up six places to occupy position 106.

2022 World Cup winners Argentina remain the highest ranked team in the world, with France occupying the second position, Brazil in third, followed by England in fourth and Belgium in fifth.
