Senegal advanced to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations with a 3-1 victory over Equatorial Guinea on Sunday evening.
Equatorial Guinea made the bright start in the earlier exchanges when a move around the area from Ivan Edu led to a smart shot that fizzled over the top.
Although, it took the Teranga Lions two minutes to the half-hour mark to go ahead when Mane threaded a pass for Famara Diedhou who firred home from point-blank range.
Equatorial received a route back five minutes from halftime when Koulibaly conceded a penalty following a hand ball, but referee Victor Gomes changed his decision after consulting the Video Assisant Referee (VAR).
That did not dampen Equatorial Guinea's spirits as a one-two into the area allowed Jannick Buyla to take one touch and fire into the bottom corner just before the hour mark.
Aliou Cisse turned to the bench in order to restore their lead and introduced a double substitution as Premier League duo Cheikhou Kouyate and Ismaila Sarr entered the pitch.
It brought instant results as Kouyate reacted quickest to a looping ball in the area following a rash clearance from a corner-kick to tuck home and restore the lead.
Sarr added to the equation and Equatorial Guinea's demise when he ran late into the area to side-foot Saliou Ciss's cutback past a grappling Jesus Owono with 10 minutes left on the clock.
There were chances for more goals that appeared on either side following the closing minutes, but the Teranga Lions settled for a 3-1 triumph in the end and advanced to a second successive semi-final.

Egypt rallied from behind to defeat Morocco 2-1 and progressed to the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals on Sunday evening.
Morocco made a flying start to the match when they won a penalty in the fourth minute after Achraf Hakimi was caught late by Ayman Ashraf in the box. The decision was overturned by VAR after initially not being given.
Ashraf tried to make amends for his error in the 20th minute when he struck a powerful long-range effort but the left-sided midfielder was denied by a good diving save from Yassine Bounou.
Bounou was called into action again five minutes later from another fierce long-range effort - this time from left-back Ahmed Abou El Fotouh - and the Atlas Lions keeper had to dive to his left to make another good save.
Egypt coach Carlos Queiroz replaced Ahmed Hegazi, who had picked up a groin injury shortly before half-time, with Aston Villa winger Trezeguet as the Pharaohs adopted a more attacking formation.
Trezeguet had an instant impact after Salah jinxed his way into the box and laid it off to the substitute, who fired just wide of the left-hand upright.
After persistently knocking on the door, the Pharaohs deservedly equalised in the 53rd minute. Omar Marmoush delivered a corner from the left-hand side and Mohamed Abdelmonem headed at goal and Bounou could only parry the ball into the path of Salah, who had a simple tap-in.
Queiroz's side had a big let-off with ten minutes to go, as Selim Amallah delivered a cross into the box from the left-hand side and Nayef Aguerd headed powerfully down but Mohamed Aboubagal showed superb reflexes to tip the ball onto his bar.
After regulation time ended all square, the Egyptians took the lead for the first time in the match in the 100th minute as Salah went on a tricky run down the right-hand side before putting in an excellent ball for Trezeguet to have a simple tap-in from close range.
There were more chance for Egypt to extend their lead, but that would not come back to haunt the seven-time champions, who held on to secure victory in a feisty North African derby.
