The 47-year-old tactician, who spent two seasons with English Premier League giants Manchester United as a striker coach, has been receiving growing support and praise since his arrival in Kenya, from fans, legends, and players.

McCarthy’s appointment was seen as a bold and ambitious move by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF), aiming to inject experience and a winning mentality into the team.

"Benni is more than a coach. He is a father figure. He is like a brother and has given a lot of freedom to the players," Muchiri told FKF Media, per Mozzart Sport.
