Guinea 0-2 Senegal
Defending champions Senegal finished at the top of Group C with a 100 percent winning record after a 2-0 win over Guinea.
Despite having already qualified, the Lions of Teranga kept largely the same side that thrashed Cameroon, as Sadio Mane, Ismaila Sare and Habib Diallo continued to lead the attack.
Guinea, meanwhile, were boosted the return of Naby Keita to the line-up after he got injured having come off the bench in a narrow win over Gambia.
The first stanza did not produce much goal-mouth action, as the neither side went to the break with a shot on target.
However, Abdoulaye Seck eventually broke the deadlock for Aliou Cisse's charges on the hour-mark with a header in the box from a free-kick.
Iliman Ndiaye sealed the three points for Senegal with the second goal in the last minute.
Guinea, however, went through to the last 16 as one of the best third-placed teams with four points, equal on points with Cameroon, who edged them for second spot on goal difference.
Gambia 2-3 Cameroon
Cameroon booked their spot in the Africa Cup of Nations round of 16 after edging Gambia in a dramatic five-goal thriller in the last game of Group C.
The Indomitable Lions dropped goalkeeper Andre Onana after a 3-1 defeat to Senegal and he was replaced in goal by Fabrice Ondoa.
After a slow start from both sides, the Scorpions had momentum after the half-hour mark and had two great chances kept out by Ondoa.
Cameroon showed better energy from the break as Georges-Kevin N'Koudou came close five minutes into the second stanza with a cracking shot that came off the crossbar.
Karl Toko Ekambi eventually broke the deadlock for Rigobert Song's charges moments later with a header from a cross by N'Koudou.
However, Ablie Jallow levelled matters for Gambia on 73 minutes with a clinical strike from a cross in the box.
With the game on the edge, Toko Ekambi came close to restoring the lead for Cameroon three minutes with a strike that came off the crossbar.
Tom Saintfiet's troops were spirited going forward and Ebrima Colley gave them the lead in the last five minutes with a strike after going through on goal, from his first touch.
There was more drama as an own goal by James Gomez moments later brought the Indomitable Lions back on level terms.
Muhammed Sanneh gave Cameroon a big scare after he scored for Gambia using his hand deep in added time from a cross and the goal was awarded before it was chalked off after Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review.
The Indomitable Lions eventually held on and qualified as the second placed team on four points, with a better goal difference over Guinea, who also finished with four points.
