Royal AM FC flex fleet of luxury cars firing them to DStv Premiership promotion

Royal AM are firing towards DStv Premiership promotion in the most lavish way as their wealthy owners supply millions of rands worth of vehicles showcased at their training ground.

When Andile Mpisane was confirmed as the youngest chairman in South African football history at 19-year-old last year October, he spoke of his desire of pushing for promotion in their debut season.

While he mentioned the capabilities of purchasing a top-flight status, he claimed the challenge of winning the GladAfrica Championship was something that excited him.

Clearly not short of capital to achieve this based on the extravagant lifestyle off the field, their investment in 'company cars'  has showcased the kind of money being pumped into the vision of the teenager.

From Vito's to Beemers

Taking to the club's official Instagram account the recently shared images celebrating the halfway mark of the second-tier as they now sit three points behind league leaders Sekhkhune United, with a game in hand.

Clearly understanding the marketing dynamics of social media in the modern game, they tagged BMW SA and Umhlanga, where they seemingly acquired their company wheels from.

Some of the rides include a BMW X5 which is estimated at R1.4-million and an X3 which starts at R775 000 based on the latest figures on the BMW official website.

The Mercedes Benz Vito is also splattered with Royal AM branding also ranges with a starting range of R651,503.00 - as per the latest price list.

Among the other vehicles includes a Toyota 4x2 'bakkie' and their team bus which features regularly in their social media videos on matchdays which can all be seen in the gallery above.

Did you know?

Royal AM's president is Andile's mother and well-known South African celebrity Shawn Mkhize.

Your thoughts, please?

Is Royal AM the real deal, or will they fade away like many other 'start-up' clubs in PSL football?
