David Beckham's iconic Aston Martin V8 is up for sale on Autotrader and it's easy to see why the first vehicle he bought when he joined Real Madrid in 2003 is worth R9-million.
Beckham's move from Manchester United to Real marked one of the highly publicised moves in football history as he joined the Galacticos that consisted of Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, Ronaldo Nazario, Raul and Roberto Carlos.

Despite being amongst some of footballs biggest names at the time, Beckham celebrity status made sure he was one of the most talked-about and publicised in media around Europe.
And at the time nearly two decades ago, he moved around the streets of Madrid in the stunning maroon Aston Martin which marked the symbol of his status during his four-year stint at the 13-time European champions.

With only 78 of the specific model created along with his DB1001, it was nearly impossible for the over-eager paparazzi to miss spotting the former England captain.
According to Spanish publication AS the famous car has gone up for sale on Autotrader for €485,000 (R9.12-million) which is naturally coveted by car collectors due to the elegant simplicity of its design.
The specific model featured cream leather interiors with burgundy piping, burr walnut accents, plush deep-pile carpets which can be seen in the gallery above.
With a 5.3-litre V8 engine that delivers 432 horsepower, the classic car can reach speeds of 100-kph in just six seconds and a top speed of 275-km.
