Burundian striker Laudit Mavugo teams up with David Zulu, Edward Manqele at TTM

The National First Division side signed the 28-year-old centre-forward on a one-year deal from Tanzanian giants Simba SC.

Mavugo, who is awaiting his work permit, will provide competition for game-time at TTM to former Kaizer Chiefs duo Zulu and Manqele.

Vhadau Vha Damani team manager Livhuwani Madzuhe confirmed Mavugo has linked up with the Limpopo-based outfit.

"One-year deal with an option," Madzuhe tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"Everything is done, we are just waiting for the permit which we hope we'll get it this week.

"He trained with the team the past few weeks and impressed the technical team, that's why we signed him.

"He will add more competition with our new recruits Zulu and Manqele upfront."

Fourth-placed TTM have seven points from three games this season, and next visit Royal Eagles on September 15 after the FIFA break.
