The last time these two sides met in a Derby Pirates won 3-1, one of the more open matches we had seen in a while from the pair. That's what the supporters at a packed FNB Stadium will be expecting when they lock horns for the first time this season on Saturday (15h30).
Pirates go into the match with the psychological edge having not lost to Amakhosi in four years, while they are a place above their rivals on the Absa Premiership standings.
Dominating the game is what Micho and his men will be looking to do, but it's easier said than done.
"There is too much at stake. If you are the most attacking coach, [the] game could go either way. It is a game of waves. I remember last year we played and we had first half 72 percent possession against 28 percent. Total domination, but second half opponent came to us," Micho said.
"It means that it's something that is impossible to control. We come with intention to score first and win, but you can score and concede more, so we need to have perfect balance."
