Lubelo spent last season on loan at Mpumalanga Black Aces, but is now a free agent after being handed his clearance by the Students.
Academy director and coach Harold Legodi confirms that Lubelo and former Orlando Pirates midfielder Lwazi Skosana are keeping fit by him.
“Lubelo is here and training with while he looks for a new team,” Legodi says.
