Thulani Serero achieved a notable milestone with UAE Gulf Pro League champions Al Jazira over the weekend.
Bafana Bafana international midfielder Thulani Serero continues to thrive in the United Arab Emirates and played a starring role in the reigning champions' 3-2 league win over Emirates Club on Friday afternoon.
The 31-year-old's latest showing for the Arab giants helped maintain his side's four-match unbeaten start to the season in his 50th club appearance across all competitions.
Serero's latest milestone comes just months after he was named as the division's Best Foreign Midfielder, while also receiving a nomination as the Best Foreign Player award while being named in the division's Team of the Season.
The former Ajax Cape Town star joined Al Jazira from Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem in August 2019, while having previously enjoyed a highly successful spell with Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam.
