The South African winger was AEL’s standout performer last season, registering an impressive 14 assists and two goals in his debut campaign.

Singh, who turned 28 this week, has been rewarded with a contract extension running until May 2027.

In a statement on AEL’s official website, the club announced: "The Board of Directors of AEL announces the renewal of its collaboration with footballer Luther Singh until May 2027.

"The continuation of our partnership confirms our shared desire for ongoing progress and success in the pursuit of our team’s objectives.

"We wish Luther Singh all the best in the next chapter of his football journey in the blue-and-yellow shirt, with health, strength, and many team and individual achievements."

Singh has successfully revived his career in Cyprus after disappointing spells with Danish giants FC Copenhagen and Serbian side FK Cukaricki.
