If ever age is an issue for some in football, then it shouldn't be mentioned next to Nyasha Mushekwi's name as the former Mamelodi Sundowns striker keeps scoring goals non-stop abroad.
Mushekwi now earns his salary playing for Chinese League One club Yunnan Yukun who he has led to within sight of promotion to the top league just six months after joining.

As has become a regular feature, he was on target yet again over the weekend.
What made the latest goal memorable is that it was a rare strike with his right foot struck on the half volley an acute angle.
Typical of the experienced striker that he is, the ex-Zimbabwe international timed his run to perfection to get behind the Guangzhou defence and deliver his 15th goal of the season.
At the end of the 90 minutes, it was points shared at 1-1 with Yunnan Yukun remaining top of the standings and crucially 10 points ahead in the push for promotion with 11 games remaining.
For Mushekwi – who turns 37 on Wednesday – he remains top of the scoring charts in the Chinese League One with 15 goals and is at the forefront of another promotion mission having done it before.
Those goals have come from 19 league appearances keeping top of the scorers list and in firm contention for the league's Golden Boot award which comes with handsome rewards.
Yunnan Yukun also offers financial rewards for the club's top scorer award which will this year most likely be 'creamed' by a promotion ticket for the club.
There will also be money in the bag in securing promotion to the top tier for Yunnan Yukun who are enjoying growing crowds for their home matches.
Based on his current form, Mushekwi is set to surpass the 20 goals mark.
Last season, he scored 20 goals for Zhejiang Professional who play in the Chinese Super League.
He had 18 in the league plus two in the Asian Champions League and missed out on becoming the league's top scorer by just a single goal.

Mushekwi's scoring numbers in the two years prior were 18 and 23.
So impressive has been the left-footed striker that he has been on double figures for 11 out of 14 of the years that he has played professional football in South Africa, Sweden, and China.
Mushekwi scored 40 goals in 53 starts while at Sundowns.
