The result means Rovers finish their league campaign top of the log and could be the final match for Furman at the team.
The Bafana Bafana international has been on loan with Rovers from Oldham Athletic for the last two months but his deal with the Latics runs out in June.
It means he can join a team of his choosing as a free agent and there is a chance that Rovers will want to take him up to the Championship with them.
Furman made eight appearances this season for Rovers, six from the start and the fact that he will not be involved in the play-offs is a boost to national coach Gordon Igesund.
It means a long rest for Furman ahead of the 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against CAR and Ethiopia in June.
