Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has reflected on his journey of over 21 years and believes he has been lucky to have achieved so much.
Thursday marked 10 years since Khune had the chance of featuring in his first ever FIFA World Cup clash when Bafana Bafana kicked of the 2010 showpiece against Mexico.

Since then, the 32-year-old, who will be turning 33 next week, has gone on to amass more than 90 caps for the South African men's senior national team while also remaining one of the key figures for Amakhosi.
Reflecting on that historic moment from a decade ago, 'Itu' recalls the emotions he felt as they entered the FNB Stadium pitch before going on to draw 1-1.

"I'm one of the luckiest goalkeepers to have served this club for 21 years and to have represented Bafana Bafana so many times," Khune told the club's website.
"Walking out of the tunnel for that opening match of the World Cup, we had a lot of pressure on our shoulders.
"It really felt as if we were carrying the nation, and we knew we could not disappoint so many who believed in us."
