Bafana Bafana have dropped one place in the latest FIFA world rankings after failing to beat Namibia and Zambia during the recent international break.
South Africa are now ranked a lowly 72nd on FIFA's global rankings after playing out a 1-1 draw against Namibia (116) on 8 October, before suffering a 2-1 defeat to COSAFA rivals Zambia (89) three days later.

As a result, Molefi Ntseki's side have been overtaken by Guinea on the overall standings after the West African nation jumped three places on the charts, courtesy of an impressive 2-1 win over Cape Verde (78).

Senegal (21) remain the continent's highest-ranked nation, although they too have dropped down a place after suffering a comprehensive 3-1 defeat to Morocco (39), who in turn have climbed four spots.
Elsewhere, Belgium (1) have retained their status as the world's highest-rank nation ahead of France (2) and Brazil (3), while Malta were the biggest climbers after jumping six places in the latest standings.
