Jayden Adams (21) and Antonio Van Wyk (20) are two of the latest young stars to emerge from Stellenbosch FC's conveyor belt of talent and have begun to leave their mark on the pitch for both club and country.
The former broke into Stellies' first team back in 2020 and made his 50th appearance for the club in the season-finale against rivals Cape Town City in May while the latter enjoyed his first senior season with the Cape Winelands-based side during the 2021/22 campaign.
A pathway has previously been established between Stellenbosch FC and the European market with former players Ryan Moon, now back in South Africa with Golden Arrows, and Luke Le Roux both going on to sign with Varberg in recent seasons.
Meanwhile, the next batch of graduates is set to come through the ranks this season, with Barker also confirming that Oswin Andries, Liam de Kock, Devon Titus and Lance Weaver have all been promoted to the first team for the 2022/23 campaign.
Andries and Titus have both already made their senior debuts, while De Kock and Weaver have been promoted alongside them after helping the club's reserve side win the DStv Diski Challenge last time around.
