Besides goalkeeper Jody February, Sundowns have already brought in midfielders George Maluleka and Grant Margeman in preparation for next season.
A few other players including Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori and Black Leopards attacker Lesedi Kapinga have been linked with a move to The Brazilians next season.
Mosimane also admitted he was interested in signing Zimbabwean striker Knowledge Musona at the end of last year but a move could not happen.
'Jingles' only signed two players Mauricio Affonso and Sammy Seabi last season but wants to add more weapons for a stronger arsenal next season.
"We know the players we want. If it was possible, easy, you know transfers are not easy. If it was possible, we would do it now," Mosimane said after his recent contract extension was announced.
"But we have highlighted who we want. Of course, we are not going to get everybody we want and there is plan A and plan B.
"We know who we want. Last year we signed two players. This year we need to get a little more."
The Brazilians have lacked a goalscoring machine for the past two seasons after the departures of Percy Tau and Khama Billiat, and have relied on Sibusiso Vilakazi and Lebohang Maboe up front for goals.
"It's always the areas of scoring goals [that need attention]," Mosimane added. "It's the most critical part of the team."
