Marcos Rojo's has been granted his UK visa

The 24-year-old left-back has experienced a delay in receiving his working visa since his arrival from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon and was unable to feature in any of The Reds’ fixtures.

United have released a statement revealing that Rojo has received his visa and is set to make his debut in their next Premier League fixture after the current international break.

"The UK Border Agency has agreed to grant new Manchester United signing Marcos Rojo a visa and the defender will therefore be available for the Reds' next game against QPR on September 14.

“Rojo completed his move to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon on August 20 but the requirement to obtain a visa has thus far prevented the 24-year-old from making his debut,” read the club’s statement.

Furthermore, the statement also went on to explain why fellow Argentinian, and R1billion signing, Angel Di Mara was able to feature in their recent 0-0 away draw against Burnley.

"There was no such delay for fellow Argentinian arrival Angel Di Maria, who already has an Italian passport as one of his grandparents is from Italy."

Rojo is one of six new faces at Old Traffprd since the arrival of Dutch coach Louis Van Gaal, joining Angel Di Maria, Radamel Falcao, Ander Herrera, Daily Blind and Luke Shaw.
