Mamelodi Sundowns striker Etiosa Ighodaro linked with R8,5 million move to Europe

Nigerian forward Etiosa Godspower Ighodaro is yet to feature for Sundowns despite being signed by the club and then loaned out to the University of Pretoria for the past season.

At TUKS, Ighodaro (23) has shown encouraging form which has attracted the interest of Partizan Belgrade.

The SuperLiga heavyweights make up one-half of the most successful clubs in Serbia with Red Star Belgrade on the other end.

Top Serbian publication Mozzart Sport reports an offer of 500 000 Euros (approx. R8,5 million) will be tabled for the Nigerian who has been discussed extensively.

Reference has been made to previous success that Nigerians Taribo West, Umar Sadiq, Obiora Odita and Ifeanyi Emeghara had during their time at the club.

Former Ajax Cape Town midfielder Seydouba Soumah also played for the club just like Eric Djemba Djemba some years after his time at Manchester United.

Ighodaro has previous years impressed during junior tournaments in Italy.

Etiosa is the younger brother Osaguona Ighodaro who has been capped twice by the Super Eagles and came through from Abuja College.
