SuperSport United have confirmed the signing of Lucky Mohomi from Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their 2020/21 season opener against TTM.
As reported by snl24.com/kickoff last week, 29-year-old Mohomi joins the list of players Sundowns have trimmed from their inflated squad after 14 off-season arrivals and will look to reignite his career at their Tshwane rivals.
The tenacious midfielder has signed a one-year contract with an option to extend by a further year at the end of the season and head coach Kaitano Tembo has welcome the experience he will offer their youthful squad.

"We needed more experience in the midfield and I think Mohomi will provide that. He is technically gifted and he is a player that can score goals and he will bring great strength into our team," Tembo said.
"Lucky can help carry the load from players like Teboho [Mokoena], Sipho [Mbule] and Jamie [Webber] and will play a huge role in developing our youngsters going forward. He is a player I have always admired and it will be good to work with him."
Mohomi didn't featured a single minute in the 2019/20 domestic treble campaign as a serious knee injury kept him on the sidelines for most of the season.
