Durban-born ex-defender Goldstone, who was part of the famous 'Operation Vat Alles' generation that won three trophies in 2001, has joined the club's former players in praising the chairman and the whole leadership.

"You know I have said many times before that I think Kaizer Chiefs are, in my humble opinion, the most professional club in South Africa," Goldstone tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"The entire vision, goal and objective of the club coupled with their achievements over the years ooze success and greatness. For me it shows how good leadership, vision, planning and drive brings about great success."

Despite being a powerful brand, Amakhosi have been struggling to win silverware in the last four years but Goldstone believes the leadership will get things right.

"I don't worry too much about the fact that the past few years have not yielded much success in terms of silverware. Kaizer Chiefs is a brand and institution synonymous with success," the 43-year-old adds.

"I know the supporters are extremely demanding but the ownership and management will make the right decisions that will bring the silverware back to the club."
