Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielders Lucky Mohomi and Thamsanqa Sangweni have both departed Marumo Gallants after an initial assessment period in the hopes of a return to the DStv Premiership.
Mohomi and Sangweni spent a month training with Marumo Gallants in the hope of landing contracts but found no joy before eventually leaving.
Prior to arriving at Marumo, the pair had been with GladAfrica Championship clubs with Mohomi at Venda Football Academy while Sangweni was with TS Sporting.
With the prospect of landing deals at Marumo, they both terminated their contracts with the two first division clubs at the beginning of the year.
