Mamelodi Sundowns opened a four-point lead at the top of the DStv Premiership with a 3-0 victory over Swallows FC on Sunday evening.
The Brazilians had goalkeeper Denis Onyango back from their resounding win over Golden Arrows and afforded Divine Lunga another outing, whilst Swallows opted for Sanele Tshabalala in goal.
Swallows troubled the Brazilians immensely early on with a shot outside the area from Keletso Makgalwa forcing a solid block from Onyango.
Former Sundowns full-back Tebogo Langerman looked to get one over his former side with a snap-shot from a tight angle before the half-hour mark, but Onyango gathered.
Sundowns began to show dominance following the closing period of the first half as Thabiso Kutumela nestled the post with a low attempt which the visitors cleared for a corner-kick.
From the corner, the opening goal followed as Paval Safranko towered over a static Swallows defence to head into the bottom-corner of Tshabalala's goal.
The Dube Birds looked for renewed momentum in the second half, whilst the Brazilians continued to see a lot of the ball and passes to one another.
Masandawana eventually introduced Sibusiso Vilakazi, Rivaldo Coetzee and Neo Maema, before Swallows threw on Mphakamiseni Nene and Kagiso Malinga.
The changes worked for the Brazilians with 12 minutes to go as Vilakazi played a one-two with Maema, who took one touch before firing past Tshabalala.
Swallows aimed an immediate reply from a rising header in the area by Khethukuthula Ndlovu, but Onyango palmed onto the post and away.
The Brazilians landed a third goal a minute from time when Peter Shalulile got down in the area to head in a ball from the right and see his side to another win in the Premiership.
