Kaizer Chiefs legend Donald Ace Khuse has expressed his unhappiness with the way he believes South African football treats black coaches.
Khuse has been one of those coaches in the country who has not been given many opportunities in either club first teams or national junior sides, despite his experience as a footballer and coach.
'Ace' expressed his disappointment at how he believes black coaches are treated in the country.
"I feel not only me but black coaches are being undermined in South African football, they are not taken seriously. They probably think we cannot do what they want us to do," Khuse lamented.
"If they can give us fair chances, like two or three-years contract and see what can you do, if you fail then take you out. We usually get a few games then you're out, they then hire white coaches and give them different treatment. It will take time for black coaches to be respected in this country."
However, Khuse is comforted by the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as Bafana Bafana coach and is hoping SAFA and the football community give him the same respect as white coaches.
"It's good to see Molefi Ntseki at Bafana Bafana, he's been in the national setup for years, he understands what is needed. Maybe he has learned from other coaches he has worked with. I'm hoping he can use those lessons with our culture and be given fair judgement and respect."
