Matombo's brother Nkipitheni recently accused Lidoda Duvha of not wanting to keep their end of the bargain when it came to the midfielder's salary agreement.
However, a source close to the player says things were patched over during a meeting last week Wednesday.
"He is training with the team, everything seems okay now between him and the club," says the source.
"Like everybody else in the team, he now stands a chance to play against Orlando Pirates. It's a 50/50 chance but he is available.
"But now that everything has been sorted he will have to fight for his position."
Leopards will host Pirates at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday (19h30).
