Chiefs in operation win all the games

Chiefs are back playing in front of their followers 25 months since they last did so with covid-19 restrictions then enforcing a ban on fans in stadiums.

As AmaKhosi go into battle in their latest fixture against SuperSport United at FNB Stadium (19h30) they have a third of their squad still to play in front of the club's fans in a list that has Brandon Petersen, Sifiso Hlanti, Njabulo Ngcobo, Sibusiso Mabiliso, Cole Alexander, Phathutshedzo Nange, Kgaogelo Sekgota, Keagan Dolly and Austin Dube.

"Personally, I'm looking forward to the supporters being there," says Dube.

"We have been missing the supporters a lot so them being there on Saturday is going to be a bit of an advantage to us and we urge them to come in numbers.

"I urge the supporters to go and get vaccinated or tested so that they can be there at the stadium on Saturday," he says.

With 15 appearances to his name to date, he will be keen to continue contributing declaring that the target is to win all the remaining games.

"For now, the focus is on the remaining games, we have been positive about the remaining games. We will go all out all to win all of them. It is possible to win all the remaining games and that is what we are working towards.

"We have played them (SuperSport) in the first round, and we know how they play so it is a bit of an advantage to us. They know us and we know them.

"But then, the focus is not too much on them, but rather us improving coming from our previous game (against TS Galaxy) that we had last week on Tuesday.

"We've been preparing really well going into the game on Saturday against SuperSport. I think so far, we have been doing great at training. Everything has been great so far," says Dube.
