Stellenbosch FC got back on the winning trail in the Betway Premiership with a 5-0 thrashing of AmaZulu on Thursday night.
The hosts recalled Hendrick Ekstein and Rowan Human, while Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker gave a debut to new signing Thato Khiba.
The match didn't light up in the early stages, leaving both to play from the top in a quest for unforced errors to unlock one another though had the goalmouth activity significantly reduced.
Stellenbosch had to wait six minutes to halftime for the opening goal when Khomotjo Lekoloane leaned slightly on the shoulder of the area to pick out the bottom-corner.
Etiosa Ighodaro was inches from restoring parity for Usuthu following through a ball in from the right of the box, but the striker failed to find a way past Sage Stephens.
The home outfit responded with a substitution at the start of the second half, with Mlondi Mbanjwa thrown in the place of Human.
Stellenbosch weren't bothered and went further ahead ten minutes in when Titus cut onto his left foot and rifled the ball into the roof of the net.
It got worse for Usuthu five minutes later as a loose ball well in the box from a set-play found Chumani Butsaka, who finished first-time to compound Usuthu's woes.
More woes set on the host who conceded again when a ball on the right-side of the box released Titus to a first-time finish in the six-yard area and completed his brace.
The rout didn't stop as the visitors grabbed a fifth goal after an unforced error saw Ibraheem Jabaar nudged clean through to find an empty net.
With the win, the Maroons moved up to seventh position on the table and a further three points ahead of Usuthu, who now occupy 10th spot.
