Two horse race for Lebitso

Sekhukhune United are believed to have joined the race to sign midfielder Thabiso Lebitso from Chippa United.

Lebitso has received his clearance from Chippa after reaching an agreement to terminate his contract with the club on Thursday.

The former Tshwane University of Technology midfielder is also on the wanted list of Orlando Pirates and has already left Gqerbeha with the intention of signing with one of the PSL teams in Gauteng.

According to our informant, the battle for the services of Lebitso is now between Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United.

"The boy is now here in Gauteng and expected to sign with his new team before the weekend. SuperSport United were interested but the battle is now between Pirates and Sekhukhune United," said the source.

Chippa United is reported ready to receive offers for the services of goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali who is currently in Ivory Coast with the Nigerian national team for the AFCON tournament.
