The first-team duo's contracts are both set to expire at the end of the season.
The Soweto giant's hierarchy look set to trigger Hotto's one-year option on his current deal at Mayfair.
"Hotto is still an integral part of the team," an insider at the club tells KickOff.
"He has an option on his deal and the club are looking forward to extending it.
"Mpontshane's contract is also set to expire at the end of the season, and club management has not discussed his future at the club for next season.
The Buccaneers kept alive their hopes of CAF Champions League qualification with a hard-fought 1-0 win over SuperSport United on Saturday.
