In our exciting feature, My Welcome to the league moment, KickOff catches up with former Free State Stars and Orlando Pirates player Hleza Mofedi.
"I still remember in the 2000/01 season when I was still at Free State Stars.
"We were playing against Mamelodi Sundowns in the BP Top 8 Cup which still had the golden goal rule?
"It was 0-0 after 90 minutes. In the dying minutes of the extra time, Bennet Mnguni scored a golden goal for Sundowns that knocked us out of the cup competition.
"It was so painful to lose a match like that.
"That game was tough, Sundowns gave us a hard time in every department, midfield, defence and upfront.
"Roger Feutmba, Bennet Mnguni, Themba Mnguni, all those guys were too hot to handle that day.
"What made it worse for me was I was a midfielder, I had to deal with every Sundowns' attack.
"I had to deal with every Sundowns player who was heading towards our goals.
"Every Sundowns attack had to go past our midfield first before reaching our defence.
"That Sundowns team had all the quality, Lovers Mohlala, John Tlale, the late Joas Magolego, Daniel Mudau.
"That day all we did was deny them a space to play. We couldn't go pound for pound with them.
"I finished that game hungry, immediately I got home my wife dished up for me, I ate my supper and relaxed.
"I was so tired that day. That was my welcome to the league moment."
