In the latest edition of My Locker Room Secrets, former Orlando Pirates defender Tonic Chabalala reveals a strange ritual by a former teammate.
Chabalala featured for the Buccaneers from 2004 to 2008.
Who was always late?
"Whether it was in camp or at the gym, Tso Vilakazi was always late.
"Even the team's line-up couldn't be finalised if Tso had not arrived yet. He would always be the last one to collect his bib. iBhakaniya would only be complete if Tso was around.
"That changing room was hilarious, we had people like Steve Lekoelea, Cheeseboy Mokoena and Vumvum (Gift Leremi).
"They would always debate about who dresses better than the other."

Any interesting ritual before they played?
"I had one popular teammate who was a real character. He loved sex. That guy was a character (laughs).
"Even in hotels during camps, he would go for any available lady.
"We even gave him the name 'Mabhahaza' (The Shooter) for his actions."
Who was the jokester?
"Cheeseboy, Chippa Lekoelea, those guys always kept us in stitches. Jabu Pule was also one of them."
Was it a muti change room?
"Muti is everywhere in our football (laughs)."
Who was the singer?
"Edward Malinga. He loved singing."
Who was the best dressed and worst dressed?
"Lekoelea was the best dressed. That guy would always say to us, I'm on the level of Irvin Khoza when it comes to clothes. I'm expensive.
"Cheeseboy was the one who was dressing bad. Maybe it is because he was still a youngster, I don't know, but that guy dressed rubbish."
Rate the coach's team talk
"Micho stood out for me. His team talk covers everything. He allowed everyone, including players, to have an input in his team talks."
