What formation?
"It's going to be 4-3-3."
Goalkeeper
"Moeneeb Josephs. He is a shot-stopper, and he can also play from the back."
Defenders
"Right-back is Lucky Lekgwathi because of his energy and qualities as a left-back.
"Left-back is Innocent Chikoya. I don't think there will be another left-back who will cross the ball like him."
"Centre-back I will put Old-John Mabizela. A leader that is very comfortable on the ball.
"My second centre-back is Papi Khomane. He was very strong. He doesn't shy away from tackles."
Midfield
"Dillon Shephard will be my defensive midfielder. He can pinpoint, he is very clever, he is very smart, and he can dribble. Hence, I put him there.
"The other two players in the middle will be Benedict Vilakazi and Steven Pienaar.
"Whenever the chips are down Tso Vilakazi will be there for you. He's got the heart. He is a box-to-box player.
"Same applies with Steven Pienaar though he is more skilful, he is a very skilful box-to-box player."
Strikers
"The late Lesley Manyathela. For me, that's a striker. Very slow but with every ball that comes his way he will put it in.
"I will also put the late Gift Leremi on the flanks, he was very comfortable in using both legs, he was very strong, and he could dribble.
"My other winger is Shaun Potgieter, very pacey and had a very good left foot."
Substitutes
"Senzo Meyiwa will be my reserve goalkeeper. The defender will be Duran Francis.
"My midfielder will be Mxolisi Mchunu, formerly with Ajax Cape Town.
"Joseph 'Dukuduku' Makhanya will be my striker on the bench."
Coach
"It has to be Cavin Johnson. He knows how to get the best out of his players. He is very intelligent when it comes to tactics and requires very simple football from them."
