In this edition of My Dream Team, former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns captain Dan Malesela names the 10 best players he featured alongside during his playing career.
Malesela formed part of a star-studded Sundowns side that dominated the PSL in the late nineties.
What formation are you selecting?
"4-3-3. A formation is determined by the type of players you have. It depends on the strength of the players. A formation is guided by people."
Goalkeeper
"John Tlale. Underrated but a very good goalkeeper. He is not one of those goalkeepers who throw themselves to the ground diving for unnecessary balls. His big strength is reading the game and his positioning."

Defenders
"My right-back is Themba Mnguni. In my time by far the best. He gives you comfort; he can switch from right-back to centre-back. On the left, I will put Eric Ramasike. Also, he is very underrated and it was discovered late that he can be a very good defender.
"Myself, and Nick Seshweni will play at centre-back. Playing with him made my life very easy. His communication was very good because we were both technically gifted."

Midfield
"Page Mahlangu, Roger Feutmba and Botsotso Makhanya. Roger was more offensive and Botsotso was both offensive and defensive. Page was more of an organiser and also defensive."

Strikers
"To accommodate two strikers Pollen Ndlanya and Mambush Mudau I will have to kill one winger.
"Mambush is just behind Pollen. Mambush is versatile and also a goal scorer. Pollen will come with speed and strength. Most people didn't realise that Pollen had so much skill.
"Then I will have Clinton Larsen on the side, as a winger he brings speed and accuracy. When he makes a cross it's not just a cross but a pass."

Coach
"For a team like that it must be Ted Dumitru. If not him then Augusto Palacios."
