Former Orlando Pirates striker Katlego Mashego has been left unimpressed with his former side's season opening defeat to Stellenbosch FC.
The Sea Robbers suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Danie Craven Stadium away to Stellies as Jose Riveiro's side got their campaign off on a sombre note on Saturday.

"Saturday's match was a bit of both, as I said before, Pirates needed to make at least four major signings," Mashego tells KickOff.
"So far, they haven't done that, they just brought back Zakhele Lepasa from his loan spell.
"Yes, at SuperSport United, he was playing very well, but is he ready to lead a front-line of a big team like Orlando Pirates?
"Saturday's performance was just a continuation of last season in terms of where they are.
"Yes, they will be there winning some games, drawing some, losing some, but in terms of winning the championship, I don't see them achieving that.
"They should have been there putting up a fight to show they are a team that is gunning for the championship, but all I saw was the Pirates of last season.
"Nothing was exciting in their game; it was more or less the same thing.
"At Pirates, it's difficult to see where the goals are going to come from this season.
"Pirates need a striker, they need a midfielder, they need a right-back and an international centre-back.
"I think those are the positions they should consider."
The Buccaneers next face Royal AM in a league clash at Oralndo Stadium on Tuesday.
Kick-off is at 19:30.
