Clayton Daniels promises Orlando Pirates a tough Nedbank Cup game against Maritzburg United

The two teams will battle each other for a quarter-final spot when they meet at Harry Gwala Stadium at 18h00.

Though the Buccaneers will be looking to add the Nedbank Cup to the MTN8 trophy they won earlier this season, Daniels says they will have to sweat blood if they want to come out of KwaZulu-Natal victorious.

"Ja we will bring our fight to the game, so they are not going to have it easy. Pirates is not going to have it easy," Daniels tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"Pirates you know on their day they are a quality side and they have very good players, good technical team. You know they are going to bring the game to you, they are going to run to you, they are going to press you.

"It's going to be a good test for us to see how far we've come as a team and how we can go forward in the season. We had a little bit of a break, we had a little bit of time to work on the team.

"And the players, especially on the mentality side, we had time to put some training towards the conditioning side you know. Hopefully we can use this Pirates game to give us a boost going into the rest of the season."
